What is it? ShaMARock Sunday is a live-music celebration of St. Patrick's Day featuring national touring musicians The Bow Tides, plus local favorites John Condron and Allison Flood.
Where is it? The Mar Theater is located at 121 S. Main St., Wilmington, IL 60481 Phone: (815)476-4662
When is it? What time do doors open? How long is the show? – Doors for the show open at 1:15 PM PM! The show starts at 2:00 PM. The show should be done about 4 PM
Where do I park? – There is a parking lot right next to the theater to the left of the front façade. You may also park in the bank lot across the street, the Wilmington Public Library lot at 201 S. Kankakee St. (only after 5:30 PM) and in the lots behind Wilmington Collision (323 E. Baltimore Street) and depicted on the map shown below. Parking is also available in nearby neighborhoods. Please be respectful of “No Parking” signs and driveway entrances. Help us be a good neighbor!
How do I get in? - The box office is in front of the building on Main St.
*If you have a hard ticket, or printed yours out from the TicketSpice Web site, simply show it at the box office and front door.
* If you bought your ticket online at TicketSpice but have it on your phone, or didn’t print it, the box office has a list of names with the online orders. Simply give them your name to be crossed of the list and admitted
* IF YOU DIDN’T PURCHASE A TICKET AHEAD OF TIME, simply see the people at the box office window to purchase a ticket: $15 for Adults, $10 for 12-and-under.
Is my seat reserved?? – Nope! All seats are general admission, first-come, first served!
Food and beverage?? – The Mar’s regular concessions, refreshments and popcorn with be available at the concession counter in the lobby, which takes cash or credit. The bar--serving beer and seltzers—is CASH ONLY, and will be located in the theater, down on the floor to the right of the stage. Please be generous with your tips for the people who stepped up to help serve during the show!
I didn’t bring cash for the bar. Where can I get some?? – There’s an ATM right across the street behind the bank!
Bathrooms? Coat check? – Bathrooms are located off the lobby, and there is no coat check.
Accessibility - The Mar is an accessible facility. If you need assistance, please inquire with the staff upon entry.
When is the next live show? – We're looking forward to more live events in 2025! In the meantime, come back to The MAR and watch a movie!!
